Become a training center, without minimums and quotas to meet from other safety organizations.
Have your personnel take courses online, and have an instructor within your facility re-certify them!
Follow these steps to become an Authorized Skill Center(ASC):
- Identify an instructor in your FireHouse from one of the following Safety
Organizations for BLS/CPR Professional Rescuer, ACLS, and PEPP/PALS:
- Emergency Care & Safety Institute
- American Heart Association
- American Red Cross
- National Safety Council
- American Safety and Health Institute
Note: There may be multiple instructors.
- Register your FireHouse as an ASC with requested information.
- Upon approval of your ASC Status, your medical personnel may begin taking
online courses for re-certification.
- Upon completion of their online courses, your personnel have their skills
evaluated by your "in-house" instructor, and certification is awarded.
